Salon scheduling software for a book, not a factory shift

Salon scheduling software should follow the book. Schedultary's salon starter runs Tuesday through Saturday, 09:00 to 18:00, with a full book, a morning book, or an afternoon book. Roles start as owner, stylist, and assistant. The minimum starts at two. Full-time load is about 20 shifts in a period, with one weekend day. Chairs you do not staff on Monday simply are not a duty that day.

How a salon day is staffed

Morning and afternoon books let a stylist work a half day without you splitting a cell by hand. Assistants can be required on the full book and optional on a short book.

Rules worth saving

A hard rule can keep a stylist off a day they have approved off and can require the owner or a named lead when you want one in the shop. Preferences for preferred days off feed the next draft.

Requests from the people who work it

Stylists file the Saturday they need for a personal booking and the standing afternoon they prefer. Clients are not in the product. This is the staff schedule.

Create a Schedultary account with Google, Apple or email. After confirming your account, create a workplace or join your team with an invitation. A signed-in team connects an assistant from the setup guide.

Questions

Can each stylist have their own column?

Each person is on the roster and is placed onto a duty. You see who is in on each book.

What about booth renters?

Add them as people with their own role if they should appear on the floor schedule. If they are not staff, leave them off the roster.

Does this book appointments?

No. It schedules the people. Appointment software is a different job.
