Attending physician scheduling for services and call
Attending physician scheduling is a set of services plus the call layered on them. Schedultary's attending starter begins with six editable clinical services and room for onsite and remote duties. Roles start as attending and scheduler. Hours in the starter are weekdays 08:00 to 16:00. The minimum starts at one, because a service may be a single physician. You add call, weekend coverage, and the individual work pattern of someone who is not 1.0. A QGenda board comes in as a file you match and review, not as a live sync.
How a attending group day is staffed
Rename the six services to the ones your group actually runs. Mark a duty remote when the physician is offsite. Mark call as call or standby so it is not counted as an ordinary clinic day unless you want that.
Rules worth saving
Clinical effort can be set at or below employment fraction. A protected block, such as a conference afternoon, can be saved on the person. Weekend frequency can be a personal cap. Fairness you show the group is the count of weekends, holidays, and call, not a single grade.
Requests from the people who work it
Physicians file the dates they cannot be on service and rank holidays. The scheduler still generates and still publishes. An assistant with admin access can prepare the draft. It does not publish past an open coverage hole.
Create a Schedultary account with Google, Apple or email. After confirming your account, create a workplace or join your team with an invitation. A signed-in team connects an assistant from the setup guide.
Questions
Is this the residency year grid?
No. Attendings use service duties and call. Residents use blocks, rotations, and an academic year. They are different setups.
Can one physician cover two services?
Only when you allow concurrent duties. Otherwise the second service shows as uncovered if its minimum is still short.
Will my old call schedule import itself?
Bring the file, match names, and review. There is no live push to or from QGenda.
