Childcare scheduling software for drop-off and pickup
Childcare scheduling software has to name who is in the room at drop-off and who is still there at pickup. Schedultary's childcare starter uses an open shift (06:30 to 12:30) and an afternoon shift (12:00 to 18:00) on weekdays. Roles start as director, teacher, and aide. The minimum starts at three. Full-time load is about 27 shifts in a period, with no weekend in the starter. The overlap around noon is the handover.
How a childcare center day is staffed
You set the room minimums. The product does not look up a state ratio and apply it for you. Put the number you are required to staff into the duty minimum. A shortfall then becomes a coverage issue before publish.
Rules worth saving
A director or lead can be required on each shift. Age or credential limits can be a skill on the duty. Approved time off cannot be covered by pretending the person is still in the room.
Requests from the people who work it
Teachers file a morning they cannot open and an afternoon they cannot close. The generator sees those asks against the minimum of three or whatever number you saved.

Will this calculate my legal ratio?
No. You enter the minimum that matches your room. The schedule then refuses to publish through a hole.
Can I add a late room?
Yes. Add a duty with its own end time and minimum.
Are children on the schedule?
No. Only staff. Children's records do not belong in this roster.
