An emergency medicine residency schedule for ED blocks and off-service time

An emergency medicine residency schedule has to show the ED blocks and the off-service time without mixing them into one shift color. Schedultary's starter includes ED blocks plus ICU, ultrasound, and elective time across three class years. You edit the counts and the call that sits on the ED blocks. Shift-level attending coverage is the attending starter, not this year grid. Residents still get a published calendar of their blocks and call.

ED time and off-service time

Keep the ED rotation's capacity separate from ICU and ultrasound. Electives fill the rest. A gate can say one experience should come before another. That gate can be soft until you decide it is mandatory.

Call on top of the block

Add the call types your department uses and mark rotations that should not take them. Counts of nights and weekends stay visible. A published year is not regenerated.

Questions

Does this build the monthly ED shift template?

The residency year is blocks and call. A shift-level floor uses the workplace schedule. Use the one that matches the question you are answering.

Can seniors be exempt from a call type?

Yes. Limit the rotation or the call rule by class.

Are ultrasound and ICU required by default?

They are in the catalog. The count is yours to set or clear.
