Hotel scheduling software for three watches

Hotel scheduling software has to cover the desk when the building is asleep. Schedultary's hospitality starter uses three 8-hour watches: day, swing, and night audit, every day. Roles start as manager, front desk, and housekeeping. The minimum starts at two. Full-time load is about 20 shifts in a period. Weekend load starts at four because the building does not close. Housekeeping can be a daytime duty with its own minimum, separate from the night audit.

How a hotel day is staffed

The starter clock runs all day so a night audit that crosses midnight is a real duty, not a shift that disappears at 00:00. You set which roles may work the audit.

Rules worth saving

A rest rule can stop a night auditor from being placed on the next morning's day watch. A supervisor-required rule can keep a manager or a lead on each watch. Weekend balance is a soft rule so the same auditor is not on every Saturday night unless the counts say so.

Requests from the people who work it

Night auditors file the specific dates they can sleep. Housekeeping files a day off. The generator sees both against the minimum of two.

Questions

Can housekeeping have a different shift from the desk?

Yes. Add or edit a duty with its own hours, roles, and minimum.

What about a split front-desk shift?

Mark segments with the same split group on one date so they count as one workday and rest is not required in the gap.

Does the starter include banquet or valet?

Not by name. Add those duties and the roles that work them.
