Security scheduling software for 12-hour days and nights

Security scheduling software has to name the night as clearly as the day. Schedultary's security starter uses a 12-hour day (07:00 to 19:00) and a 12-hour night (19:00 to 07:00) every day. Roles start as supervisor and officer. The minimum starts at two. Full-time load is about 14 shifts in a period because the duties are long. Weekend load starts at four. A night whose end is the next morning is stored as one duty.

How a security site day is staffed

Both watches exist every day, including Saturday and Sunday. Add posts as separate duties if a gate and a patrol are different minimums. A person can be marked eligible for one post only.

Rules worth saving

A rest rule is the one that stops a night officer from being placed on the following day watch. Turn it on if that turnaround is forbidden. Supervisor-required can demand a supervisor on each watch. Consecutive-day caps are available in hours rules.

Requests from the people who work it

Officers file the nights they can work and the days they must be off. Because the shifts are long, a single approved day off removes a large share of the period. The draft has to show that in the load counts.

Questions

Can I run 8-hour watches instead?

Yes. Change the duty length or start from the hotel starter's three watches and edit the roles.

What about an on-call officer at home?

Mark the duty standby, remote, or on call. Concurrent duties are allowed only if you say so.

Will it publish a post with one officer when the minimum is two?

Publish is refused while coverage is short.
