Movie theater scheduling with a lead on every shift

Movie theater scheduling has a lead problem and a Friday problem. Schedultary's movie theater starter puts a shift lead on every shift and staffs Friday and Saturday harder than a weekday. Roles start as shift lead, projectionist, box office, concessions, and usher. Shows run 11:00 to 23:00 Sunday through Thursday and 11:00 to 23:30 on Friday and Saturday. The minimum starts at three. The starter raises Friday and Saturday open, mid, and close above the weekday floor. You review the draft before you publish it.

How a movie theater day is staffed

Box office, concessions, and the floor can be separate duties so a closer in concessions is not counted as the projectionist. The shift lead is a role you can require on each duty.

Rules worth saving

The heavier weekend is a coverage number, not a surprise. Soft rules spread those weekends. A generate pass still leaves Must Fix items for you to read. Do not treat the first draft as finished until those are clear.

Requests from the people who work it

Staff file the Friday they need off before the request deadline. Reminders go out so the weekend is not planned around silence. Ushers and box office share one window.

Questions

Does the starter know my showtimes?

No. It staffs the operating day. Add a duty if a specific show needs a named person beyond the floor count.

Can one lead cover two duties?

Only if you allow concurrent duties. Otherwise the lead is one placement.

Is the first generate ready to post in the lobby?

Not until you have checked coverage and mandatory rules. Publish waits on those.
