A pediatrics residency schedule for wards, NICU, PICU, and clinic
A pediatrics residency schedule in Schedultary starts with wards, NICU, PICU, clinic, and electives across three class years. You decide how many blocks each class must spend in each place. The starter does not pretend a unit's census is known. Capacity per block is a number you type. Vacation and parental leave have their own placement so a resident on leave is not also on nights.
Units are separate rotations
NICU and PICU do not share a seat count unless you build them that way. Clinic can be the ambulatory piece of an x-y calendar. Electives take the blocks that requirements leave open.
Leave and nights
Parental leave and night float ship as structure, not as a filled census. Night float is kept from running back to back until you change that rule. Call counts remain visible after you add call.
Questions
Can I add a community pediatric block?
Yes. Add a rotation, set who may sit it, and add a count if it is required.
Do residents confirm duty hours?
A program can open an hour-log period. Residents confirm hours that start from the published schedule. They are not punching a shop time clock.
Can I start blank instead?
Yes. The blank residency has parental leave and night float only. You add every other rotation.
